Park Square’s FUN RUN
Park Square’s FUN RUN is back!!
We’re excited to announce that our FUN RUN is back, and we’ve gone bigger and better.
Walkers and runners can now choose from 3 routes: 5km (walkers only), 10km and 15km routes. This event will be timed and there is an additional bonus of prize money up for grabs for the first 3 winners of each route.
15km Run – R200 (starts at 7:15am from Park Avenue)
10km Run – R170 (starts at 7:30am from Park Avenue)
5km Fun Run/Walk– R100 (starts at 7:40am from Park Avenue)
Children 6 years and under are free.
The first 250 paid entrants get a free DRY FIT Running T-shirt, worth R300.00!

- Saturday: 12pm to 3pm
- Sunday: 5:30am to 7:30am (race morning)
- Entrants will receive a race number & pins, and the first 250 entrants will receive a T-shirt
- Late entries will be available on Saturday Registration ONLY. Excluding Day Licence. Pay via Cash, Card or Zapper.
- 5km – R120
- 10km – R200
- 15km – R230
- Venue: Park Square, Umhlanga Ridge
- Start – Park Avenue
- Finish – Twilight Drive
- This event is timed.
- There will R30 000 worth of prize money for the first 3 winners in each race distance. No age category prizes.
- Prize Giving & Lucky Draw at 10am.
- Medals and Coo-ee finish drinks for all finishers.
- Undercover parking will be available inside Park Square.
- The Routes will be marshalled, and there will be 1 water table for the 5km route, 3 water tables for the 10km route and 6 water tables for the 15km route. Coo-ee and water sachets will be available on route too.
- There will be medical back up and race support on all routes.
- All 10km and 15km runners must either purchase a temporary day licence or supply their own ASA licence on entry. R50 Temp Licence for 10km and R60 for 15km.
